Sizing/Measuring

Headstalls:
Twisted Hyde Leather Co. is not responsible for purchase of headstalls that don't fit. To ensure proper fit, measure a headstall you currently use from bit to bit. Remember our headstalls have a range of sizes they will fit and can be adjusted with the holes. The measurements are given for every headstall in the description of the item. Bits with a high or long purchase could affect the size of the headstall you need. See the image below that demonstrates how to measure a headstall you currently use with a bit to ensure proper fit. All of our headstalls are full (standard) size unless specified otherwise.
Breast Collars:
The measurements are given for every breast collar in the description of the item. Please measure a breast collar you have now from D-ring to D-ring to get an idea of what size you have now and what size we offer. Remember there is quite a bit of adjustment available in your tug straps. See the image below that demonstrates how to measure a breast collar you have now to ensure proper fit. All of our breast collars are standard size unless specified otherwise.
