My journey leading to Twisted Hyde Leather Company began with a genuine love for making handcrafted leather goods. I enjoy making leather goods by hand, the time honored way, from the finest leather. Superior craftsmanship and beautifully handcrafted quality designs are the trade marks of Twisted Hyde Leather Company. 

Living all my life deep in the Texas hill country and being immersed in western heritage has shaped my artistry into something many people value and cherish. I am staying true to traditional leather crafting methods that are laborious but far superior in quality and craftsmanship than those mass produced leather goods found in box stores. 

What started as a hobby many years ago has become something more for me as so many of my friends, family and customers quickly spread the word of my craftsmanship. I have made leather goods for folks all over the world. It brings me great joy when a customer tells me how much they love their handmade leather item. It's especially gratifying when I hear back from them years later and that my handmade leather goods are still holding up well. Here at Twisted Hyde Leather Company, I  start with top quality materials to make leather goods that are enduring, timeless, and unique.

Being a craftsman of my own leather business has afforded me much freedom,  work life balance, and personal satisfaction. With the incalculable support from my family, my loving husband and two daughters, who are the true source of my endeavors and determination, I present to you:
